About

The Chesapeake Irish Terrier Club

The Chesapeake Irish Terrier Club (CITC) is a regional breed club dedicated to the health and welfare of the Irish Terrier. Our members live primarily in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. The CITC is a very active club which will host an annual AKC specialty show in the Spring, participates in the Washington DC St. Patrick’s Day Parade, educational activities, rescues local Irish Terriers in need of new homes, and has meetings throughout the year with other activities, to name a few of our regular functions. We are open to all people who have an interest in helping support the continued growth of Irish Terriers be they pets, companions or show dogs.
